Voter Information
Who may vote?
To vote one must be:
- A citizen of the United States
- At least 18 years of age
- A resident of the school district for at least 30 days prior to the vote
- Registered with the school district or with the Dutchess County Board of Elections

In-District Registration
Citizens who are not registered with Dutchess County, and wish to vote in the Beacon City School District Budget Vote and Election ONLY (you will not be eligible to vote in local, state, and national elections) may register with the school district. Registration will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the District Office at 10 Education Drive. Please bring identification, proof of citizenship, and residency. Notice is also given that personal registration of voters is required pursuant to Section 2014 of the Education Law. Any qualified voter may register to vote for the Annual School District Election and Vote at the District Office during regular business hours, from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, on days when school is in session, until May 15, 2025.
